A boy discovering his destiny. An ancient object of unspeakable power. An impenetrable web of deception.
It's been three months since Thomas and his friends faced off against the enigmatic Arius Strong in an epic fight for the future of humanity. They thought the battle was over. It was only just beginning.
Now, with a mysterious message from an unknown hacker, the action starts again. This time an ancient talisman with legendary powers is at stake, and Arius will stop at nothing to make it his own. Dark witches and wizards are rallying to his cause, and behind it all, a mysterious figure with inexplicable abilities. The forces of light are gathering as well, but the web of deception is thick. Will Thomas and his friends see through the lies in time to stop the forces of evil and prevent a catastrophe of historic proportions?

Thomas Wildus and the Wizard of Sumeria by J.M. Bergen is a remarkable tale about trying to stop another bad guy from getting an object of power.

Can Thomas and his friends stop someone from getting a magical staff?

Thomas Wildus

Thomas Wildus is our main character and someone that is a mission to save the world…again. He is trying to figure out how to do that while not getting his normal friends into the trouble that he has caused. Thomas is still a great character from book one as he has evolved not only in knowing when to use his magic but also to be there for the people that are important to him. What I like about Thomas is that he knows when it’s safe to use magic and when it isn’t. The second thing is when it’s a great time to admit defeat. Also, he is better at knowing when it’s time to joke about something.

Thomas Widus 2 CRThe Story

Thomas, Enqriue, and the others in their magical group are trying to figure out what Arius, the last big bad guy, is trying to do this time. It’s a bit harder for them this time as they are dealing with a force that they never thought would be there. Also, their compound has been leaked to the enemy. The whole group is training and trying to do everything in their power to be ready for this and to figure out what they are trying to get to first. Let’s just say that wow was this story is complex and exciting at the same time. I loved every minute of it, and I am shocked as to who the big bad was in this round. It will be amazing to see what will happen in the next installment.

Five Stars

Thomas Wildus and the Wizard of Sumeria by J.M. Bergen is another excellent book. Mr. Bergen has a fantastic second story. I like this incredible world, and I can’t wait to see where Mr. Bergen is going to go with the next story. Thomas and his friends are a fantastic group of people to help try to save the world one object of power at a time.

About J.M. Bergen

JM Bergen

J.M.’s debut fantasy/magic series originally started as a bedtime story for his oldest son. The story turned into a saga, and one book turned into five.
When J.M. isn’t working on the Thomas Wildus books, you can find him playing with his kids, napping, or dreaming up new adventures.
If you ever meet him and can’t think of anything to talk about, you might ask about Herman the Shark, the Kai and Eli stories, or why Riddle-Master by Patricia McKillip is his all-time favorite book. Or maybe, just maybe, you’ll have questions and stories of your own (if you do, he’ll think that’s far more interesting).
